- I am retired from the USPS and live on my 400 acre farm with my dogs, horses and a few beef cattle. I board some horses but I love the Rocky Mountain Horses best. When I see the horses in the pasture I am drawn to the Rockies that I own because of their temperament, good nature and willingness to please. I am a grandmother of 14 and a great-grandmother. I love having the family visit. I love the Rocky Mountain (UMH) horse shows and the friendships that I have made with people who I have met there. I like visiting the Van Bert Farm and watching the training that goes on. I am always amazed when a 2 year old come through with a rider and only a halter.
